We are an Edinburgh-based performing arts collective with an international outlook, creating collaborative work across theatre, music, and multimedia. 

Heidi Docherty (Hjarta)

Director

Hjarta is a Leith-based writer and spoken word performer whose work weaves together candid reflections on relationships, community, mental health and womanhood. Her style blends dark humour with emotional clarity, balancing wit with an unflinching eye for the ordinary dramas of daily life and a grounded charm that resonates with audiences across the country. She has been published in Dreich Magazine and Fevers of the Mind, performed at Loud Poets Slam Series (2023 & 2025) and SpokenWord Paris (2024), and featured on BBC Scotland’s Afternoon Show. She is also known for writing and performing as one half of female duo Red Velvet Revelry, and has performed in Fringe First–winning productions.

Harry Docherty (Harry Bongo)

Director

Harry Bongo is a Leith-based music and sound artist working across recorded, visual and interactive mediums as well as live electro-acoustic performance. Blending minimalism, electronica, post-rock, and improvisatory processes, he creates atmospheric, narrative-driven music and evolving soundscapes that invite reflective, immersive listening shaped by interaction with technology, environment, and audience. His music has accompanied award-winning documentaries, short films, and interdisciplinary collaborations.
